Learn to snowboard in Schladming at the Planai

The Planai is the most famous snowboard mountain in the Alps. Made famous by staging the European Snowboard Championship in 1989 and many more events. Here you will find the Blue Tomato Snowboard Testcenter.

Beginner lessons are held on the set aside areas above the snowboard school. Directly next to the school house you will find the base station of the Lärchkogel 4 man chairlift which will take you to the start of the best snowboard runs in Schladming.

The new Horsefeathers Superpark Planai at Weitmoos is perfekt for every Freestyle Snowboarder. Rails, Boxes and Kickers for all levels are the perfect playground to improve your skills. Just 2 lifts away you start in this brand new park.

Beginner carvers and pros usually find the best conditions on the Streicher run reached by the new chairlift or on the FIS run. Off Piste action and huge jumps can be found around the Mitterhauslift and the Burgstall lift. A favoured touring mountain is the Krahbergzinken.
