Learn to snowboard at Obertauern
Here you can find simply everything – ideal beginner pistes, comfortabe runs, off piste sections, natural kickers and huge cornices and the Eldorado for touring boarders. Most important is the guaranteed snow at Obertauern (1700 – 2700).
The beginner lessons are held right next to the Kirchbühe lift.
Snowboardschule Station Obertauern
At this lift you will also try a tow lift for the first time. As an intermediate you will use all the other lifts and enjoy riding down Obertauern’s long pistes. If you are a beginner carver or a pro the wide pistes of the Zehnerkar and the Seekareck are recommended.
Our Freestyle lessons are held in the Lonplaypark at the “Kehrkopfbahn”. There you can check your talent in freestyling with the help of our well trained snowboard instructors.
You can do the best Freeride Backcountry in Obertauern. In our Backcountry Centre we provide complete equipment sets with a Splitboard, Snowshoes, avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, rucksack and telescopic poles.
